I've just checked my Adwords campaigns and I can't believe the click thru rates they are currently showing. The worst ad has a click thr rate of 0.2%. My other two ad campaigns are showing 0.3% and 0.6%. I have been using adwords for almost two years and I can't ever remember receiving such poor click thru rates. The ad content that I am running has not changed. A few months ago the average click thru rate was well over 1.0%. Is this a general trend with Adwords? What can I do to increase my click thru rate?
Thanks guys

Has your competition increased significantly? You can determine this by looking at your average position across various time periods.
If your ads have dropped out of the top 6-8 positions that can affect your CTR. Competitors with more targeted ads can also lower your CTR.
Also check for disabled keywords. Perhaps the most targeted ones that had high CTRs are no longer active due to low search volumes.

My CTR's are still good. You might want to change your ad-text around. Maybe the people have tuned your ad out. For each ad-group of mine I have about 3 ads going at a time, and I let Google automatically adjust the viewing of my ads.
