Hello,
This is my first post and I'm glad I found this forum, it looks like it's just what I'm looking for.

Anyways, I'm thinking of launching a niche specific PPC SE. I have no real idea what I need to do, but I do know that if I do this right I could be pretty succesful as nothing like it seems to exist in this niche.

I'm looking for any advice, suggestions or help anyone can offer with regards to helping me increase my knowledge on how to run my own PPC SE.

Here's how I think it all works. Tell me if this sounds totally wrong or right on the money.

1 - I can get a PPC script from somewhere costing around $100.
2 - I can fill in the search results by gathering results from other sites such as DMOZ, Altavista etc
3 - Once I get enough of my own PPC clients I can begin to cut back on getting results from DMOZ Altavista etc.
4 - I can include results from Searchfeed, Ah Ha etc and get a cut from these Co's. as an affiliate, every time a visitor clicks on a link from these guys.
5 - When my site becomes popular enough I should be able to attract people to sign up to my PPC and gradually over time roll back on the results from Searchfeed, Ah Ha etc.

Is there anyone else I can get results from and earn a commission for each link clicked, as per searchfeed, Ah Ha etc?

I'm not sure which script to get, there are so many. I've found a nifty looking script called K-Search, but I haven't heard of anyone using it yet.

If anyone can give me any pointers or links to useful articles etc it would be greatly appreciated.

Than you all very much,
Matt.

Matt,

You can buy a script for around $100. It may not have all the features, but its good enough to play around with.

Some of the most popular scripts are: SmartSearch (smarterscripts.com/smartsearch/), SmartPPC (orbitscripts.com/smartppc.html), Hyperseek (hyperseek.com)

Make sure that it is legal to use search results from lets say altavista... Most of the big guys (google..yahoo...ask) won't let you use their search results, unless you pay big $$$$ in licensing fees.

You might wanna consider using some of these ppc engines as your partners: 7search.com, kanoodle.com, goclick.com, search123.com, looksmart.com, miva.com, abcsearch.com, findit-quick.com, revenuepilot.com... Please note that most of them will require you to have a certain number of search queries per month before they partner with you.

This is the first time I've heard about K-Search script. No experience with them whatsoever.
