Ok did a adword buy using spanish words ( I am in NYC market and want to reach hispanic residence)

after a week I have only had 1 impression on the 200 or so keywords that I bought
I target spanish language in my keyword buy and bought the word abogado (lawyer in spanish) but no impressions

    am I doing something wrong?

Overture's bid tool shows 2150 searches last month for the word Abogado. There are several variables involved in the number of those impressions you might get.

First, are you advertising nationally or locally only? If only to New York or NYC they will only be a fraction of those searches as only Internet users whose location can be pinpointed to that geographic area will ever see your ad.

Next, we don't know what effect targeting Spanish will have on who sees your ad. No way to know if the word is being searched for in English or Spanish, although it is probably likely that if your keyword is in Spanish you'd want your ad to be in Spanish too.

When you said "bought" do you mean you're paying per click or for impressions?
