I wanted to give all a heads up on the Red Zee Search Engine bunch. This is my own personal experience. They harrassed me on the phone for three consecutive days trying to get me to buy into their PPC program (read scam). Red Zee (on the net) or red zebra (in advertising)is the latest installment in business names of a company called LinkPositions. When LinkPositions was soiled by their endeavors they apparently changed their name to NationalPostions. Note that they merely changed the name in their purchased template monster template - didn't even bother to change the logo- but still use the same business address.

When I provided them with information from a website I found (which coincidently was created by a member of this very forum) and another site they cursed me out on the phone (wise business practice)and hung up on me.

It seems they have difficulty talking with companies that have someone on-site that knows a bit about search and how it works.

In a nutshell they purport to place your company in the number 1, 2 or 3 spot within Google, Yahoo, and MSN. Now that should be a red flag to even a beginner in SEO/SEM. They do this through installation of an adware toolbar which hijacks natural search results and inserts your listing in the #1 spot for your keywords... and they exact a fee for the traffic they deliver. There were questions raised as to whether this was valid traffic (real people) and actually traffic FROM the big 3 search engines. When I asked these questions I was told "F**k You!" and then hung up on. I kid you not. A man named NEIL STEIN representing "National Positions dot com for Red Zee" cursed me out on the phone in an attempt to get my company's business. Now that is a sure way to get my business.

You can easily find my sources through a simple google search. In accordance with the forum rules I have omitted the links that substantiate my opinions presented here.

Has anyone else received the used-car salesman pitch from these people?

I was ripped off by RedZee also. I spent $900 for targeted traffic from RedZee. I got some traffic but it all appeared to be from BOTS since I got no subscribers for my FREE newsletter that normally converts at 29%.

When I asked for a refund, John Kelly asked for my traffic stats, which I sent. They offered to give me more traffic which they did, but I still got no conversions for a FREE offer despite their "sending over 7000 click visitors."

I again asked for a refund and said I would file a claim with the credit card company. He then said, "we have never lost a charge back claim."

I then found 11 more people who claimed to have been ripped off by RedZee and its reps.

Do a search here - we've been spreading the word for a while.

Welcome to both of you - since you're both new here...and seem to share a common problem.

SIDEBAR - should we start a RedZee Support Group wink

Thanks for this posting. I recently was scammed by link positions last year. So I knew the whole concept of manipulating the search results was just plain junk.

So REd Zee calls me today and starts selling their plan. Its a little different than the old link positions story...so I was somewhat interested. Still very skeptical I did a search for Red Zee search and found this post.

I cant wait for the guy to call back.

I signed up with them via "((URL REMOVED))" and got very little trafic from them. Then all of a sudden they opened up redzee and I get tons of "traffic" but oddly enough, it appears that all their traffic only looks at the landing page that I paid to advertise, something No real people do. I discovered this after going through my raw log files for 2 hours. They are trying to sell me again,I think i'll try and beat them into a refund instead.

Anyone up for a class actiion suit LOL
