Anyone else see this one yet? Its their cover story for this issue so its a pretty in depth article.

It mostly talks about how there are pages that are just full of Adsense ads that are sent out to newsgroups for people to read. They also talked about clickbots which was something I wasnt aware of.

I would like others opinions as I think they over dramatized the issue. They said 10-15% of clicks are fraudulent. Is there anywhere near true?

I also thought google heavily monitored the content of the pages that have Adsense?

I read the article on the airplane on the the way back to Dallas over the weekend...turns out that they mention revenue in the article. In my opinion, the click fraudsters mentioned making $20,000 a year and that figure is way way way off. Try $20,000 am month, not $20,000 a year.

Google monitors the content of the pages that have AdSense, but they can only monitor it so much...
