I am so frustrated right now I could throw my computer out the window. Google's set up is unbelievaby complicated and not user friendly at all. You never can figure out where to go. I am trying to switch from budget optimizer to manual bidding--it says Note: ...change your bidding option to 'Default Manual Bidding.'

HOWEVER, they don't give you the link to do that. So i'm looking all over the place and don't see it anywhere. I keep clicking on View and edit bidding options but there is nothing there to change. What is going on? Why do they make their system so complicated?

I'm a big believer in the book "Don't make me think" about making user friendly sites and Google's is just terrible.

My CFO wanted a budget days ago and I still can't give her one b.c this system is terrible. Can someone please give me the number to google customer service.

Make sure you try accessing the site from IE and firefox. Sometimes websites don't show things when viewed in FF - and switching to IE might just show you that link you feel is missing. wink

Bidding options are set at the Campaign level. Go to the "Campaign Management" tab, click on "Edit Campaign Settings" and look for 'Default Manual Bidding' under "Advanced Options" "Keyword Bidding" (left column near the bottom of the page).

I sent you a PM offering to help you. Click on the inbox link near the top of this page to read it. To find something specific on any Web page you're viewing, you can use the "edit, find" function in your browser program.

I'm still wading through the 300 SPAM messages that didn't automatically get deleted that I received today so if you sent me an email let me know.
