Traffic and sales are expected to set new records not only on "Black Friday" (the day after Thanksgiving) but on Thanksgiving Day and even the few days just before Christmas when it is too late to get purchases delivered by Christmas Day.

Online sellers can increase sales with a good advertising strategy. You can extend your selling "season" by offering customizable, printable "Gift Certificates" for last minute purchases.

Expect searches to be high and conversions slightly lower the end of November into the first week of December. As Christmas approaches traffic often drops off but conversions reach record highs. So don't panic and cut your ad spending just at the wrong time.
