Advertisers who must charge for expedited shipping may wish to dramatically reduce spending from now until Christmas. There will be many people searching, shopping, and clicking on ads who will not buy when they find out what the shipping costs.

If your sales do not depend on this time of year you may want to focus on sales the rest of the year and reduce it between mid-November and Christmas.

Good advice - I've given up now until the New Year.

It is a good idea. Some sites have already started their sales.
