Hi guys,

Do you guys leave content match on or off?
I have a client which is in the adult business, would you recommend I leave it on or off?

Thanks.

I turn it off for almost all clients; however, it depends on what you're advertising and what your goal is. If you understand the reason I turn if off you may be able to answer that question for your client's business.

Someone searching for a specific product or service is likely to be interested in purchasing it. Someone who sees an ad on a content site and clicks on it out of curiosity is far less likely to actually want to buy.

Ask yourself whether someone on a content site who clicks on your client's ad out of curiosity is likely to take the action you're looking for.

If they are leave content on or test it to determine conversion rate. If not, turn it off. If you aren't sure if you run separate content and search campaigns you can compare the results and decide based on that.
