Hi,

I am building social networking for specific niche and I am wondering how can be expected to get for advertising once I have 5000 registered users and once I have 50.000 registered users.

Any idea? I would like to get just about info because I have no idea.

Thank you!

The value of ads vary greatly depending upon what is being advertised. The easy way to generate income from ads is to use Google Adsense or the Yahoo! Publisher Network.

You apply for either program, copy and paste the code on your pages, their systems determine what the page is about and display relevant ads. They collect the money from the advertiser and send you a percentage each month.

Be sure to read the fine print as there are rules you must follow such as not displaying competing ads on pages, not clicking on ads on your own site, and so on.

There is a Contextual Advertising Forum here where you can learn more about these types of advertising programs.

The bottom line is there is virtually no way to accurately predict how much you might make in you situation.

You have to do it and see the results.
