Both search and content ads from Google starting running at Myspace.com in December 2006. Since Myspace is already reported to have TWICE the traffic of Google's own search engine - yes I said TWICE - this may have a huge effect on the results of your advertising.
(Google, do you suppose it might have been a good idea to give the advertisers an advance heads-up when you introduce such a huge source of new traffic?)
Whether this is good or bad for advertisers depends on many variables including but not limited to the demographics of myspace users, what you're selling, whether you're running content ads, whether what you sell is likely to be shown to searchers not likely to buy, and whether you're bidding into the top three positions (three Google ads appear at the top of myspace search pages - lower positions appear at the bottom).
Keeping in mind that everything can change very quickly online, here are links to some general information about myspace and their demographics:
Background Info What's Inside MySpace
Will MySpace Degrade the Quality of Google's Ad Network
ZDNET Age Demographics of MySpace visitors 10/30/06
Comscore More Than Half of MySpace Visitors Now Age 35 or Older 10/05/06
