Is the Yahoo Ambassador program is really useful?. Is it possible to access Yahoo search marketing online training material without registering to yahoo ambassador program. Like Google giving access to Adwords learning center without registration.

See this older thread. You can access these Yahoo Tutorials. There are also some additional new Yahoo! Search Marketing System Tutorials.

I found the resources and testing useful as a refresher.

That said, when they switched to the new system, I didn't bother getting recertified with them. I'm not an agency looking for clients, so I don't see the immediate need in my case.

NP - I'll add the following:

if you're new to the whole PPC world, go through the program.

You'll be hard pressed to find a better learning resource than those put out by Yahoo and Google. Their training shows you exactly how to use their systems.

Of course, as you progress, you'll begin to realize there are tips, tricks and tactics they DON'T share with you. wink That's where experience comes into play.

There are some exceptional PPC seminars being planned for this year. The schedule is not yet firmed up and some details are still being worked out. The PPC Summit seminars are being created and given by the same brilliant woman I recommended here

You can read the review of those Yahoo Search Marketing Seminars. (That link is to the reviews of those seminars I posted in this forum previously but there are none scheduled for the rest of this year.)

These seminars will be even better because they are not specific to only Yahoo! Search Marketing. They will also cover Google Adwords, MSN AdCenter and even some of the smaller PPC engines. I don't know of anyone more brilliant at understanding and getting the most from PPC advertising.

Mary has the highest integrity and tells it like it is. If you want to truly understand and improve your advertising I don't know of a single person who could better teach and answer questions on this topic. I can recommend her seminars with absolutely zero reservations.

Anyone from beginner to the most brilliant consultant will get far more out of anything she presents than they may realize. If you are serious about being successful don't miss these. I'll post more when I know more.
