SearchHound's apparently updated most of its features, and as of now I believe they've resorted back to posting your listing on incentive based search engines as they no longer have the "sales driver" or "brand builder" options.

Just came across this also. Will be glad when they decide on a final submission format...it's changed so many times lately.

    LouV,
I haven't been able to get the "Search Term Suggestion List" function to work since last Friday.

Hey "GoTo Guy", What's Up with that?

$299! Woah, that is some serious money! I guess $199 wasn't paying the bills

Someone who doesn't realize it was free yesterday.

Others who are going to pay are the ones that want in NOW. I suppose the big companies will pay and many of the little ones will be left out in the cold.

Hopefully there will be a ton of negative feedback and some kind of compromise. I've already sent emails to every address I could find. Polite, but I sure let them know I don't like it.

GoTo has been intermittently very slow since sometime last week, not just for keywords, but on regular searches. I've even had trouble accessing the site, but I've also gotten right on.

IxQuick wasn't reporting GoTo results and had enough problems that they disabled the GoTo link (unfortunately there's no indication of this when you search). I don't know whether they've reconnected or not, but it's not just an isolated incident.

Don't count on it being free any time soon. The $299 is probably here to stay.

Let's face it. As important as LookSmart has become because of their relationships with other traffic generators, this is a directory that you can't afford to be left out of.

Contacted our account rep at Goto, and Nicole said the "Search suggestion list" function has been up and down for a few days.

She did not have an ETA for it being back in action, but she did say that they were addressing the problem....

Today its back to $199.00 (from $299.00) for express and free submit for nonbusiness sites only. Sigh.

I came across the Looksmart free submission form for all sites (including commercial) while surfing Canada.com, Have a look: http://canada.looksmart.com/eus1/eus841783/eus841950/eus843773/eus868795/eus843776/eus883350/r?l&ima&
