Hi Friends,
I have a pharma web site 3 months old. my site have got page rank 2 only on home page yet. I have a friend who has a site on javascript, css, html tutorial. He has pr 5 on almost all pages. Now he have agreed to exchange link with my site. Is it ok if I exchange links on all pages with him or it should be only on home page. Is there any chance that google can penalise me for irrelevent linking. Please sugest.

You may get a benefit from the link but Google does look at relevance. At worst, the link will have no value at all. Personally, I wouldn't link just for the factor of relevancy.
