this is something that my SEO company has been debating for a while. Do we actually need clients? We have made our clients lots of money promoting their websites, well why not create our own website to promote.

I was wondering how many of you SEOs out there have your own sites that you generate an income on?

Personaly i do both. Promoting my site on the side which doesn't generate enough to have no clients

It really depends on how long the affiliate market holds out and if/when/whether/fat-chance search engines start to seriously rank against them.
