Do .biz domain names rank well in search engines?
I have never seen a good ranking .biz domain.

Do search engines prefer .com or .net to .biz?
or is it that professional SEO's prefer to work with
.com/.net/.org etc.?

I am interested to hear people's experiences as I
dont know wheather to buy a .biz as all the domain
name that I want is gone in .net/.com/.org only
the .biz domain is left and I dont know if I will
be able to get that ranking.

thanks,
Bill

The TLD doesn't matter whatsoever. It doesn't matter if you have a .com, .biz, .net, .org, or whatever. A .biz domain name has just as good a chance of ranking well as a .com domain.

Even if the "name" you want is not available in the .com and just the .biz, you might consider using another name, perhaps your business name. The domain name itself doesn't matter at all when it comes to search engine rankings.
