dudibob Joined: Oct 13, 2005 # Posts: 1403	Posted: 01/19/2006 06:56 am hey Guys and girls, I think I have just found a case of hijacking, but I'm not too sure, remember reading about it somewhere and I think the URL was similar to this www.someonesdomain.com/cgi-bin/out.cgi?url=http://www.domain-that-shouldn't-be-here.co.uk Is this a 301 hijack? If it is, what do I do, just report it to Google? (Copy Shortcut)

The cgi code forces the link to open in a frame so it is probably some sort of automated directory building or link exchange software in action. That's my best guess. (Copy Shortcut)

Google says it is sorted, but as far as I can see they sorted it by trying to hide such results from the results. The underlying problem is still there, in that many affected pages/sites are still missing from the index. (Copy Shortcut)
