Hello!
I am a new intern at a company that is currently struggling between using a free service (Google Sitemaps) or to use SearchDex. The two search optimization tools are dynamic and almost entirely comparable. Could anyone reply and give some insights into whether or not the two are redundant services or if one is better than the other? Please help! Confused!
Thanks.:D

Welcome to the forums Jenn!
Now, let's see:
1 - I've never heard fo Searchdex
2 - Sitemaps is not an "optimization tool" - it's a place to list changes to your site's pages (additions/removals) and have them easily found by Google.
3 - Google likes it's own Sitemaps system - why pay for something external to this? Use of either will not result in better rankings...
Enjoy your path of learning as The Intern. We have a couple of interns here, though I rarely take enough time to harass them properly...
