If I have a white background and at the bottom of the page have a coloured bar with white text links to various internal pages, is that read as hidden text because the se reads white background and white text, discounting the coloured cell?

I've seen people say that this could be a problem - but it never has been for me. I have used coloured cells MANY times on a white background page and have had many good results.

It should be readable or visible.

Thank you both.

Yes, the intention is for it to be visible, I just don´t want it to be mistakenly identified as hidden text. I am thinking of adding this bar to hundreds of pages of a site and it would be disastrous if the site copped a penalty because I didn´t check on this point.
