Every page on your site is a landing page! Add content to your site as additional landing pages.
Sub-domains have been abused by spammers in the past so they are best avoided.

Use subdomains if it makes sense to. If you try to go the subdomain route for items which could otherwise have simply been pages on the website, the engines will not like it - as mentioned.
A subdomain is, in essence, a seperate website, but typically one which offers something related ot the main site.
I have a sports website. I have a sports contest website. Rather than simply stick my sports contest content in a FOLDER in the sports site, I would subdomain it as contests.sports-site.com.
90% of what folks are bringing to the Internet should simply reside as more content pages on one website. Do not abuse subdomains as folks have in the past - the engines will give you the greasy eyeball...

Make sure that all content pages are included in your site navigation. Failure to do so labels those pages as SPAM.
