Our site is for buying, selling and trading a wide range of used, second hand, unusual and collectible stuff. It's lightening fast, and unlike most other sites for this purpose, very simple and easy to navigate.

Our standard promo text is as follow:
    ****
Buyers can get secondhand treasures for a fair price at ((URL REMOVED)). No one’s getting rich at ((URL REMOVED)). Find great deals on music, antiques, art, literature, computers, electronics, furniture, games and toys, household items, appliances, photography, tools, RVs, vehicles, and equipment. At Arjay Bulock’s ((URL REMOVED)), There’re no multi-million dollar online storefronts, no e-tail entrepreneurs selling close-out products for a 300 percent profit, just plain folk who want to get rid or buy used, second hand, unusual and collectible items at a fair price without hassle."
    [Site content rated PG-13]
    ****

Considering the broad range of product categories included on our site, how can we optimize our rankings?

And no, we won't change the name of the site because it works.

    Thanks,
    Arjay Bulock

I wouldn't worry about optimizing the site for a specific keyword or phrase or even a bunch of them. Focus on making your site search engine friendly--so your pages/listings will show up in the search results. So, if someone is looking for a certain product or a certain make and model of product then your page will show up.

Ultimately, focusing on a broad number of phrases (like all of your products or listings) will bring in more traffic and eventually get your home page and other category pages "ranked".
