My site is an free web based instant messaging for communities
Im not sure on the best way to promoting my site

Hello,
You can to start with search for a relevant ontopic links and try to get the links from them. Apart from this if you write some good articles and post the same in major article site will yield good result. You can even consider submit yr site to some major directories. Hope this will help you.
