I had read many articals on net about algorithm but still confused.

It is the computational method by which they sort and rank URLs, and then show them in their search results.
It is very complicated, has very many factors, and the exact details are only known to the people that designed it.

google will constantly and continually change their algorithm to keep a step ahead of the spammers and increase relevancy in SERPs. The only constant in Google is change, much like life, so brace yourself for the ride try and hold on

Google algorithms is the one type of complexity measurement of any particular site.The group of scientist who have made such kind of algorithms can only tell us the inner logic of it.But we have noticed that some common features such as it does not crawl any infected site or spammy site,only quality websites get indexed by Google.But each and every moment it changes its module structure.

1. What is the Google algorithm?
1a. Only Google knows. Ask Matt Cutts. He wont tell you. (not sure even HE would know it specifically... perhaps)
2. How do you know if Google will change their algorithm?
2a. Is the sun shining? The algorithm changes every day, sometimes several times. The changes are usually too small to really notice, but they do have an impact.
As far as major algo changes, again only Google knows. If you do however, start to see huge amounts of SPAM and crappy results, it can be assumed that a major update will be in place soon to solve the problem.
overall, nobody knows the answers to these questions except a select few privileged and highly paid Google employees.

Google uses an algorithm to determine serch engine result Pages(SERPs).
Some facts about Google Algorithms-
(1) The algorithm is based upon certain factors that include keyword density, Meta Tags, anchor tags, image tags, back links, etc.
