Dear Friends,
I had promoted our website, where all the keywords are in Google 1-10 position, for all keywords its ranking is superb, but the problem is when visitors visit this site they don’t post any enquiry for purchasing products.
Where the other site they have also well rank in Google, and here per day 3- 4 enquiries posted for purchasing products.
Both are antique websites, but as per SEO I can’t understand what the problem with antique oak where ranking is better than next one.
Please discuss with me my SEO friend and let me know what the solution is.
I eagerly wait for your positive response.

It has nothing to do with SEO. SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is all about ranking high in search engines only. Your site is already ranking high so now you should do Web Site Optimization (should we called it as WSO ?). What does it mean? It means to optimize your website for your visitors. Your web design and content should be user friendly. Else your site will get traffic but the traffic won't convert into sale.
Check the following things:
1. Is your "BUY" button / link is big enough to catch your visitors attention?
2. Is your buy link is visible without using scroll bar?
I hope you got the point. There are more things you may like to check like - your shopping cart - is it working?? etc.
PS: Here I am assuming that the both sites are ranking for the same keywords and one is converting and other isn't.

Hi Ani_Ben
I had a quick look at your website and would make the following suggestion. Have friends, family and basically anyone you can get infront of a computer have a look at your website. Give them a brief or objective (such as buy a widget). Observe them in how they use the website.
If you think of an actual antique store, you can see how you customers move around the shop, what they take interest in and what they ask questions about, simply by observing them. From that experience you can work out how to layout the store, what works well in the window display to attract customers in and perhaps what sort of knowledge the sales staff will need to assist the customers.
It is similar with a website although a little more difficult and time consuming, but you can gather this same sort of information through watching other people and properly tracking useage with logs and tools such as Google Analytics. Understanding how users actually use your website as oppossed to how you designed the layout and functionality of the website, will give you insight into how it can be tweaked to increase conversion.
Finally, in conducting user trials I would recommend if possible;
- Pairing users so they work with each other rather than asking you for instruction.
- Trying to refrain from giving input to their user experience. Simply set a clear goal for them and watch where they go ... right or wrong
- Measure, design, implement, measure (meaning choose one function, measure the current performance, design improvement, implement improvement, measure result again to determine whether it was an improvement or not)
- Slowly, slowly catchy monkey (meaning, make little measurable changes one at a time and measure results before making further changes. That way you can tell which ones work as opposed to running several at once)
Good luck ... you have done the hard part in getting the traffic to your site, now just to convert them into customers. I hope some of the above is useful
