Hi Folks !
I am going to make my thesis about SEO.
I need your advice what I should write there ? what are the main point that I have to analyse them ? what point will make my thesis looks more academic than simple articles or blogging
I went through a lot of documents in SEO and forums, and I feel I am going to make repetition or just like summarizing what people wrote already, it seems to be easy to write about the search engine optimization, but it is not, I am lost in hundred of the titles, and I am afraid that I will never achieve my thesis.
Is there any source where I could get more academic reports about SEO, or mathematics discussion of the SE algorithms ?because most of the sources are telling how to make money or how to SEO your websites, or some guidance, but there is not much talks about SEO algorithm or inventing any new methods... I am looking for this kind of advice.
Any small help will be really appreciated.

Sonia

I would include the misconceptions, misinformation and all of the scams and tricks that are employed to take advantage of the unknowing. SEO/SEF/SEM has somewhat of the same marketing approaches as selling swamp land in the desert. Their is a sucker born everyday. Everyone wants to write about the specifics, but i think this would differentiate you from the others, sort of in the investigative reporter genre.
