Hi guys,
I don't know if this is the right website to ask but my website has been getting about 30-40 orders a day for the past few months and yesterday, I only got 12. I know the law of average but this isn't right and I can feel it.
I checked the keywords I have and most of the rankings stay the same in Google and some even improved!
I don't understand what the big drop is. And today, my current sale is 3 orders. What is going on?
Are there any way to check what's causing this? I used some of the important keywords I have on Google and they stay the same ranking. Are people just not shopping or what? It's quite unusual.
Thanks for the help if I can get any.... this is very frustrating.

Start by looking at your visitor statistics.
Is it visitors and sales down, or just sales?
Check your server - has it been down at all?
Could it be the post-Christmas depression? Or the pre-Easter lull?

The visitor statistics are down. But like I said, if the rankings stayed the same, what else could have caused this?
Post-Christmas depression? Maybe... but 12 to 40 orders is a big gap. My average before the holiday season was way above 12 too.
I am not sure what else I can check into.
Oh and website wasn't down yesterday. This morning somebody was trying to hack my website by sending requests from over 300 countries (different IPs) which result in over-load and my customers couldn't visit the website this morning but that has been solved.
