If you're serious about building an online business, the first thing, you will have to increase targeted traffic to your site.
Today,in the field of online business none can see each other.The only medium to introduce yourself through internet is your website.So,to get success in business you will have to be a owner of a good,attractive & unique website.Always keep in mind that,Your web site is your identity.Here are some techniques which are very simple and effective to Implement.
1.ARTICLE WRITING :
To get success in online business writing articles is very important .Write articles related to your site and put your website address in the by-line. If you can write good content, your articles will be published and a lot of readers who like your article will start using your website
A well-written article can:
- help you build your profile as an expert
- draw traffic to your site, and
- help you to build a database of potential clients through associated e-courses or a newsletter.
2.LINK EXCHANGE :
Link exchange is most important to obtain high PR to your site. Each incoming link to your web site can be considered as a vote. The more votes your web site achieves, it will get more importance from Google $ other major search engines .
After your web site has been assessed for the number of incoming links Google will assign a value, called Page Rank (PR), to the web pages on your web site. Higher PR indicating more importance.
During reciprocal link exchange you should try to exchange link with high pr site which will certainly get more Traffic in Your Website.
3.BLOG :
Add a blog to your site & Submit your blog address to different blog search sites and directories. This is the fastest and surest way to get the search engine robots to visit your blog and attract a number of new visitors to your web site regularly.
4.SEARCH ENGINE SUBMISSION :
The main source of traffic to a site are the search engines. If you're a webmaster, you know you need to bring website traffic to get success.Search Engine Optimization is a compound process of friendly web design & content writing, keyword selection,link popularity, article submission, and internet marketing for increasing more traffics on your web site.
5.SIGNATURE :
Add your own web address to your forum profile signature. Each time you post or respond to questions, your ad will be displayed. If you can post good and useful content in forums, people who go through your threads will also certainly check out your website & this can increase your traffic ultimately.

I would link to add one more technique to get link and increasing traffic is social bookmarking sites.

Does that help long term?
I agree it's a good method for blogs, etc., but do you really think it works for real sites?
(unless you are doing it on an industrial scale, of course!)

Nice post.Every SEO specialist should follow that.But keyword analysis section has been totally ignored here.Keyword analysis is an important factor for good SEO.
