Hi,
Is there a tool I can use to analyze my copy in relation to my keywords. - eg, I paste my copy in, define my keywords, and it tells me what percentage I have of those words, plus the number of derivations I have - so if my keyword was 'environment', it might tell me I have 5 occurrences of 'environment', 2 of 'environments', and 2 of 'environmental' - if it's relevant to include 'environments' and 'environmental' in the count.
(Should I take into account derivations in my keyword count? Say my keyword was 'environment' - should I include occurrences of 'environmental' and 'environments' in the count?)
Thanks

If you are looking for a simple keyword density tool, there are plenty out there. You can start with a Firefox plugin called as 'Search Status' which works with the recent FF version. It tells you at a glance where your keywords occur.
I am afraid if you are looking for information on derivatives of each keyword, it may be hard to come by. Unless the tool has a thesaurus and dictionary built in, it won't be able to spot - for example - the difference between 'seek' and 'sought'.
As you have already seen in another thread started by you, it would be far better to go for a 'natural' way when handling keyword phrases than to worry unduly about the keyword densities.
I could see that you have a natural way in handling words. You shouldn't have any problem.
