I guess there's a threat of someone linking with the whole OnClick code and causing some dupe URL issues.
Any thoughts???

??? As far as I know, no OnClick coding can cause duplicate URL issues, OnClick only does 'OnCLick - send to URL' and/or 'OnClick - nice graphic'.
Do you have an example of what you mean so we can have a better look to help you
