I am using the Page Critic to examine one of my web pages. If I select "exact matching" with the keywords then I get completely different results if it is not selected.

So which should I use? I have been tuning my site for Google, by the way...

I think wpg should say that "Google does not use exact matching" (i.e. if you have where is Scotland? it takes out where is, unless you put it in quotes) I would have it without exact matching.

I'm not for sure on this one, but I think that you want exact matching because plurals give different results in Google. For example, "top result" or "top results" will yeild different search results.

If you don't have exact matching, it might count "top result" and "top results" as the same key phrase, where Google will not count them as the same phrase.
