After reminding my boss every month for the past half a year, I finally got the OK to go ahead and buy a copy of ClickTracks Analyzer today . I tried the beta a while back and fell in love with it, and using it for just plain log analyzing seemed really good too. I've read there have been a lot of improvements since then, hopefully it will be even better than I remember. I am off to play with it, wish me luck.

Good luck, I bought it last week as a trial run. I really like it and find it very useful. I'm trying to find ways to differentiate between duplicate links on the page. Some pages have nav links, text links and header/footer links. Click tracks registers each as the same so you don't know which link in particular they clicked.
I talked to tech support and they suggested placing a source code on each link, however I don't think this is the best way to go with search engines. Maybe somebody can answer this question, if a SE sees "www.mysite.com/mypage.htm?source=textlink" will it register it as the same page as "www.mysite.com/mypage.htm" or will it look at is as a duplicate page?

We have been using source codes for a little over a year without many problems, but they are only really usefull for PPC/Paid campaigns where you get to assign the links. For instance, about 6 months ago we launched a new site, so I thought it would be interested to add it to the free search engines with source codes (www.domain.com/?src=google), and found that the majority dropped the variables off the domain and just indexed from the main page up. I would imagine that they would be seen as seperate pages by search engines though, since the whole concept of veriables is to issue different content for the same page. products.php?category=tables & products.php?category=chairs would be seen as two seperate listings rather than just products.php I would bet.
I've been waiting around for the clicktracks support to be available on IM, maybe you know this -- is there any way to pull up a list of all referrers captured by a certain tag? I set a tag as a broad match, and would like to go through and look at what it is capturing under that tag to make sure it is the data I want, but can't find out how.

There is an icon with two people in front of a pice of paper. click that and scroll down the the second section which shows top referrers. If you have any tag checked you'll get the referrers here. You can also increase the number of referrers displayed with the paper/wrench/hand icon.
I think this is the info you wanted.
