The folks over at Web CEO have released a new version of their software, including a free version that, while not being full featured, does have the majority of the softwares benefit. I have been spending some time in this software package lately and am growing very fond of it, I think I'm sold on it actually wink.

The developers of WebCEO are good listeners and are extremely good at dealing with customer feedback. I've seen conversations in a few forums about feature requests and they usually come up with the goods pretty sharpish. Definitely worth a try.

Yep, they have even added a "suggest feature" button in the new version. I'm going to order a copy in a week or two, from my e-mails with them it sounds like they have a good head on their shoulders.

Hello everybody and thank you for the warm welcome of our Free Edition! We tried to make it a valuable contribution to webmaster community. smile

As to the bugs, we try to fix every bug that we know about and can reproduce.
The marshalling error is a very annoying one, especially because we never experienced it on our machines and most times users who received it were not very cooperative or the logs we got didn't help much.

The MS Jet bug is known to us. Once we discovered that MDAC files for some reason were note registered on our user machine. It doesn't happen very often, but it does happen. Is Web CEO to blame for that? Our guys made a patch -- Vikto, you can download it at http://www.webceo.com/download/regJet40.bat. In the next version of Web CEO, we won't use MS Jet Database Engine at all.

You seem to have posted a lot about 'Advanced Web Ranking' today Just_in - are you connected to them in some way?

This couldn't have been scripted much better... regardless I'm having a problem with the optimization feature. It keeps locking up before suggestions and won't let me close the program.

It looks as if support is only available Mon - Fri. Any ideas?

FYI, It turns out that one of my dynamic pages was churning out too much data. When other sites are optimized i don't seem to have this problem. Thanks Mrina @ WebCEO
