I would like to share information about new dynamic link optimization tool for IIS. It is called LinkFreeze and it optimizes dynamic web sites for search engine indexing by making all links on the site look like a static file links. Here is a URL: http://www.helicontech.com/linkfreeze/

Hi slov
Can you clarify to us what the differences between ISAPI_rewrite and LinkFreeze are as you seem to be promoting them both. Which one would you recommend?

ISAPI_Rewrite is a port of mod_rewrite for IIS. It is a common tool for complex URL and request manipulations, traffic proxy, etc, but it will operate only on incoming requests. If you have used mod_rewrite or need to port existing rules, then this is solution for you, but it's application is not limited only to search engine optimization. LinkFreeze is an easy to implement solution designed especially to optimize dynamic links for search engines. Unlike ISAPI_Rewrite (or mod_rewrite), LinkFreeze will rewrite not only incoming requests but also links on the pages. You don't need to modify your applications and write rules, LinkFreeze can be applied on the fly in a seconds. Simply install, select scheme and activate it and all URLs on the site become optimized right after you click apply.

Can you give me any examples of sites that are currently using it? (by PM please) - cheers
