Cn someone let me know how to create a web beacon within the emails I am sending to see what percentage have been opened and if any links have been clicked.
Or maybe some know a prog that can monitor these kind of activities.
Any help most welcome
Thank you

Reference this image:
<img src="http://yourdomain.com/tracking/trackingnumber.jpg" height="1" width="1" border="0" alt="">
where trackingnumber is unique, then look in the site logs.
Or... if you only want to know the number of people opening it, not exactly who, then the tracking number does not need to be unique.
Doesn't work if recipient reads all mail offline; which is why I read all mail offline.

Or if people only accept plain text emails (I'm still partial to them myself )

Umm, yeah. I only use plain text too. Hate HTML mail.
Having done that since 1995 I forgot all about that point -- far too obvious after 9 years.
