I have a quick question for you gurus.
I use to use the Jimtools.com Site Submission Took a long time ago when it was still working, you know the one that would work with google, alltheweb, scrubby and all the others.
Then when they turned that one off I used to use the one at Thisisouryear.com but he also turned his off. Does anybody have any urls to a submit page. I like these pages because they will submit to pages like French and Italian directory and I don't speak those languages so I can't read their submit pages.

I was always under the impression (well with google at least) that if you submit to the american site then you'll show up for all geo sites. Also, if you can't read foreign sites, then how can you market products to foreign customers?

I can't say any "all in one" submissions, but I know some of the SE's main submit pages

Google - www.google.com/addurl

Alltheweb/Yahoo!/AltaVista - login.yahoo.com/.../free/request (You'll need a yahoo sign-on name for this.)

Lycos/Hotbot - insite.lycos.com/ There's a little "free submission" link below all the pay-per-includion adds (also needs you to register)

Gigablast - http://www.gigablast.com/addurl

Yeah they're the only places I bother submitting to. I suggest dmoz.org as well but don't hold your breath waiting to being added.

I've got a basic submit page here www.ethicalweb.com.au/submit/
(for all they are worth)
Not many engines - I'll add more later when I have time

Thanks
Viola is the main one that I was looking for, I used to get a lot of traffic from them and I don't speak French so I can never read how to get to their submit page smile
