Hi,
Was wondering if there is some kind of tool or utility that can help you find what number your site is placed in the search engine results page for certain search terms? Primarly, I'm looking for one for Yahoo.

Is there a better way to find out what place your site is at than to just type in a search term and go page by page until you find your site?

Thanks for any help.

you could also try SearchMaster. It checks keywords against all major search engines and stores the results online. There is a free checker too.

Try [PDXT]

You can call a web service to pull backlink and listing results for all major engines to your site. It's free.

I've tried a number of these tools, but my favorite so far is Top25:
Top25
Includes Yahoo =) Tis a little slow tho!

Another is the Man in Blue

Also, GoogleAlert is an excellent service but the free version is pretty limited. Having Google SERP changes emailed to me every morning for specific key phrases is very sweet. The paid-for versions include deep searches and cache info as well.

You could also try Page Promoter. It checks keywords or keyphrases on all major and national search engines and stores the results in a form of reports.
