Hi All,
My index pgae for my site is principally constructed in flash. Although I have strong MetaTag keywords etc. all the search engines seem to not find the site. Robots is set to all. From what I have read, Flash seems to be the problem. The only way I can think of resolving it is to create a redirection page rich with MetaTag keyords etc.
What do you think? Good Idea - Bad Idea
Any other suggestions would be very helpfull

Put a link at the bottom to the non flash page and the Search Engine Spiders will see the link and follow it to the rest of your pages

I read that Google (and presumably other SE) are now able to read Flash.

It seems to make sense considering how much Flash has made a splash on the Net.

However, and as mentioned above, you definitelly want to list the links to the rest of your site separatelly (Flash or no Flash)

Google can read flash, so can yahoo. I dont know if someone else can too. But i think they have just been able to read layer 0 so it's of almost no use. Maybe they will be able to read more in the future.
