Hi there,

I have several web sites that I am working on optimizing and am seeking feedback on reciprocal link programs.

We have looked at several and have narrowed our list down (random order):
1. Links manager
2. Arelis
3. Link Machine
4. Info Wizards Pro
5. Reciprocal Manager
5. LinkAutomate

We have tried Links Manager but find it expensive at $20/mth per site. Also, we have heard that if you ever leave it, you lose everything.

Arelis, as mentioned, requires manual checking.

Important factors:
- Ability to auto-check links (Arelis finds links but there is no auto-checking)
- Ability to import external lists (eg. via .csv)
- Third party access (ability to have an externally-hired resource to go in to program and use it)
- Use for multiple sites (so a set cost per site can get expensive very quickly)
I would really appreciate hearing the good, the bad and the ugly of the above products for those who have used them, as well as suggestions of any other products that you have found success with in your SEO travels.

Thanks in advance!
janisp

Hi,
WSNlinks does it all, its php script

I heard about Arelis that it can hurt your ranking becayse when Google finds out you are usig this software, the punish your rankings, but Iam not sure.

You also need to be aware that reciprocal links are not as affective is one way inbound links.

New tool named LinkAssistant (www.link-assistant.com) may be useful.

That seems to be easy to me smile
1) They DO NOT provide SEO consulting - the just sell their software.
2) Look at their news section - their site was made just a month ago - seem like they are still waiting for their first PageRank 8)

LOL! You guys use Arelis and had never seen that the site of their company (axandra.com) has a PR 0. So AFAIK nothing strange here...

Not much research from you there fellah. They are a german company and the sites are here:

[link] with PR5

and:

[link] with PR5

the german version is here:

[link] with PR4

So you can see why the .com as a mirror gets 0.

Not singing their praises but if you look at the software, there is no way it can damage your rankings. Just assists with the regular stuff you do manually.

Ironically I back off using it too much just because I get scared of getting too many incoming links too quickly and getting google all excitable.

I have used Arelis+IBP. Good tools but 2 big drawbacks:
(a) Does not show the PR of the searched sites.
(b) You cannot import a list of websites.

I have also used SEO Elite:
Beware it will search site like this....
Search string => software "Please also suggest my link to the LinkPartners.com Directory" <==
So this means that only sites which are registered users of LinkPartners.com are listed. Eventually you will never get out of the linkpartners.com loop.
Do not waste ur money.

I think the best way out is to manually search for sites with good ranks etc and then use some tool which will simply help you AUTO_FILL forms. This will save you time.

20 sites a day will save you form being blacklisted too.

Correct me if I am wrong....
Vai
