Hi.

I'd like to raise a question here.
Lets say you've done it all, made inside optimization, great link exchanges and so on.. you get to a point when you watch your competitive keywords, and you competitors.

I'd like to know what do you think is best in that sort of action.
Sure, tracking down a list of the toptens in my keywords, checking how things changes... who goes better, whos not.

Those are things I also think about. but at the end, I dont think it got me any smarter, any closer to understand the actions that were made. if from the search engine side or from the website side.

What other researches can I do, and what are their benefits?

Well, you need to keep a close watch on the keywords your competitor is targeting.
You could make use of webconfs.com/anchor-text-analysis.php
It reports on the link text used by your competitors to link to their websites....
