I have been using Rankingpower for about a year. What's the most effective way to use this program? Has this program now lost it's effectiveness? Should I consider removing most or all of my Rankingpower pages?
I use my own custom templates with nice graphics instead of the ugly default templates. I am always unsure of how many site URLs I should use. I have experimented with 6, 8, 10 or 12 per page. Each site URL repeats the keyword phrase, so could that be a problem? Also I notice Rankingpower often adds site URLs of my own site or my other sites, so I'm wondering if this could invoke an excessive crosslinking penality. Unfortunately, rankingpower lacks any kind of filter to block my own site links from appearing in the results.
My Rankingpower pages had good results with Yahoo up until the weekend of June 11 but have never done well on Google. They are doing much better on MSN, but traffic from MSN is nowhere what Yahoo or Google can produce.
