are the tools available in the market worth trusting..i mean is it better then optimising the site ourself nnd submit it manually?

Tools:
- text editor, code editor (WYSIWYG - if you really must)
- FTP program
- Mozilla, Firefox, IE, Opera to test your sites in
- HTML and CSS validator to check your code is OK
- Xenu LinkSleuth to check your internal linking
- Google, Yahoo, (maybe MSN too) to check you are indexed.
What more do you need?

If you can do SEO manually, by all means, do it. No program will have the capabilities of what your brain can come up with. But with that said, there are a ton of good programs out there that you can use, most of which are listed in this forum
