Hi Everyone,
Just new to the forum but have a question I am really interested in having answered.Hopefully it doesn`t come across as sounding stupid.
In regards to software such as linking, Seach Engine submission etc etc many people have made comments that if this is done wrong, and by that I mean automatic submission and not manual or by using a farm linking servies then you website may suffer in the long run and may even be banned by sites like google and Yahoo.
What then is stopping a competitor from signing up to a free service and such as a link farm and submitting your website themselves. How is this stopped?
If anyone could answer this question it would be great.
Thanks
Nick

If a competitor has time to screw around with your website, rather than improving their own, then they are already on the way out...

Nothing, really, but I agree that if your competitor has time to do shady things like that, they'll be gone soon enough.
