Hi everybody,
There are many website which have gained high ranking in search results of search engine. If i want to know which are the keyword through which these sites are at top of search results of search engines.
Can anyone suggest me any tool or techniques through which i can know about SPECIFIC keywords which are making site at the top.
Please dont suggest me to look into page source and find keywords from there. I want to know SPECIFIC keywords.
Please sort this matter.Hoping for earliest reply.

The keywords don't make the site rank highly.
Site at the top of the heap should basically be following this plan:
1 - research keywords to determine which keywords have actual traffic on them
2 - offer original, relevant content to a keyword - one page per keyword targeted
3 - follow the basics of SEO and make sure the site is clean and works properly
4 - spend a lot of time building quality inbound links from related, decent, sites
Keyword research is key for everything. I personally use Wordtracker to help me with my research (you must buy it), though there are other tools which do basically the same thing. keep in mind - free applications generally won't give you everything you need - that's why they're free.
First you must determine what keywords have the traffic on them - what people are actually searching for. Then simply search on those phrases for competitors.

I agree with you that keywords are not single one which make a site at the top of search results.But even though, it plays a big role.
If every basic steps of SEO is followed and after that i want to know specific KEYWORDS which are attracting visitors to site.
Is there any tool or suggestions.

The point I was making was this:
It's not the keywords that attract users TO a site.
If a site ranks well for a phrase, the site is relevant for THAT phrase.
part of SEO is doing keyword research - basically learning what people are searching on.
You use a tool like Wordtracker to find that data.

Try using the Keyword Playground Tool
www.webconfs.com/keyword-playground.php
It displays information about the number of searches for specific keywords..
I think it is what your looking for...
