Request: CHECK THIS OUT FIRST, BEFORE YOU ASK FOR A REVIEW:

Hi. Like you no doubt, the members and moderators of this forum are busy people who don't sit around just waiting for you to put YOUR site up for review.

Would you like one review of your site? How about reviews by two or more people? You would? Then demonstrate your bona fides by conducting at least two (2) quality reviews of other people's sites. Don't stop at just two - the more reviews you do, the better your demonstration of good intent.

Don't know how to conduct a review or what to review? There are literally hundreds of things you can review about any site. If you can use the Internet, then you are fully qualified to review websites. How many websites have you entered and found aspects that don't work as well as they could; information that you seek, missing; and aspects that annoy you? Lot's?

Here is a thread which, in a black humor way, details aspects of websites that drive visitors crazy:

Top 10 ways to irritate your visitors

These design errors are committed by websites of all sizes - from small sites with just a few pages to large sites costing hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Note that while the above thread is there to give you some ideas, our forum is not for insulting webmasters. Be objective and diplomatic in your criticism. Also, praise aspects of the site that you thought were good. No-one wants just criticism.

As anyone who has designed and developed websites can tell you, after you have worked on the site for a while, you start having trouble "seeing the wood from the trees". That's where this forum comes in - its purpose is to help webmasters pick up faults with their website that they have missed, including typos.

So, hop in and do some reviews. If we don't see you reviewing other sites then we won't bother reviewing your site, as you clearly are not interested in helping others. Also, if you do just shallow reviews, then that is what you can expect back. OTOH, if you would like quality reviews, then make quality reviews yourself.

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you!

Good luck with your reviews. smile
