Name of Site/Business: Chinese/Japanese symbol design, translation and custom seal carving & calligraphy.
Site's Main Purpose: Ecommerce/Sales
Please Review the following:
Does the home page sufficiently convince people to go further into the site?
Navigation. Is it clear and easy to understand?
Appearance/Attractiveness
Typos and grammar
Images failing to load
Is the Contact, Privacy and Legal information adequate in relation to main purpose of site?
Search engine marketing. Can the pages be reasonably well indexed by search engines?
Additional Comments/Notes
Could anyone here give me some comments or suggestions on my site, especially regarding search engine marketing?
Suggestions on site design or contents are also appreciated.

I've not done a site review here before, so please bear with me...
I know you have a list of questions at the top of your query, but here are my first thoughts...
The only thing 'technically' I thought was off was the change of font, like on the guarantee page. From like an arial to a times roman or something. I would stay consistent with my fonts. Spelling and grammar were very good! Your images are sharp/clear and well taken. With that said, I did not see how your banner char4u matched it. They appeared to be different styles. I can see the char4u being very elegant and matching what you have on your page.
As for attractiveness/going further in the site: I think I might try some of your pictures/characters without prices and telling about your items before selling them. The first page had an About on it, which is what you are wanting for your front page..something that tells about your items, but doesn't necessarily need to say about. Just a clean, perhaps larger picture of your seals.
You DO have some great items, navigation is easy and understandable. Simple layout (my style) without frills. On my 56k dialup, your images came right up. I did not have to do any waiting for any of your pages.
Again, sorry, first time here...hope I made some sense!

Thanks for the comments tinkerbell. They are very helpful to me. I think I need to add more introductions to my products and fine-tune the styles, as you suggested.
