Name of Site/Business: Maarga Systems
Site's Main Purpose: Ecommerce/Sales
Please Review the following:
Navigation. Is it clear and easy to understand?
Search engine marketing. Can the pages be reasonably well indexed by search engines?
Additional Comments/Notes
I used to appear pretty much on top on Google for some of the most relevant keywords for my business, viz. "lotus notes offshore" "lotus domino offshore" etc. Sometime beginning of this year, I just dropped out of Google results. I thought it could be because of a couple of link exchange programs I had given link to in resources page, and removed them. My site used to appear both under www.mydomain.com & myhost.com/~myaccount ... I possibly got penalized for that (duplicate content). I'm looking primarily for search engine relevance as feedback.
My PR has stayed the same - 3 on home page and 2 on inside pages, but I just stopped appearing in SERPs. Please help, as I'm not sure what I did to irritate google so much
Thanks a ton in advance!!!

You have done nothing to offend Google. The fact that your home page has a Pagerank of 3 is proof of that. So, relax.
Your "problem" is caused by a lack of inbound links, changes/additions to competitive pages and signnificant changes to the Google algorithm. Work on additional inbound links eg listings in directories and you will rise again (although probably not to the same level. At the end of last year Google introduced stemming, which signficantly increased the number of competitive pages for any search term.
In summary, increased competition combined with the need for more inbound links is your problem.

Hi realvenk,
I would also look to making the navigation a little clearer. It could get confusing to someone once they come into the site and a little overwelmed. It might be a good idea to put a clearer link to the home page once you click into the site other than just the logo.

Thanks for the insight OAC. I wrote to Google for a reinclusion request, and surprisingly Google got back within 15 days saying that this site has not been banned in Google, just not showing up on results.
I am working on directory inclusion, but Dmoz is proving to be a fight - I've submitted twice, and never heard from them. The first time was nearly a year back, and a second time last month. I'm planning to follow up on the forums.
gerardio .. will implement your suggestion on the navigation. Thanks for the tip.
Thanks again for the help.
