Name of Site/Business: PentoPlane.com

Site's Main Purpose: Advertising (eg Banners, Google Adsense etc.)

Please Review the following:
Does the home page sufficiently convince people to go further into the site?

Does/can the site achieve its main purpose?

Navigation. Is it clear and easy to understand?

Appearance/Attractiveness

Search engine marketing. Can the pages be reasonably well indexed by search engines?

Additional Comments/Notes

I will be very thankful if you guys can review my website.
This website is going to expand a lot in the comming days having multiple user section like free online shop, greetind cards, community, etc.

Do you think at this very moment when my website is in it beta version can it make some money using PPC ads like Google, etc

I need more funds for further development as i cant really code it all as i have done till now.

Regards,
Wed Administrator

Q1.Does the home page sufficiently convince people to go further into the site?

This is a very subjective question but as general rule people tend to click
more on text links than they do images or other types of links. I found myself
clicking on the news section but not anything else.

Q2.Does/can the site achieve its main purpose?

You clearly want to appeal to as many different types of people as possible
but the danger in doing this is that you spread yourself a little too thin
or you alienate a large section of the target audience. For example you
have got software development listed next to holiday reservations. Have
you clearly thought out your business model here?

Q3.Navigation. Is it clear and easy to understand?

The main links to the business directories seem like one image rather than
a collection of links. The top navigation bar does not appear at first to be
that but an advert of some sort. I think the navigation needs some more
design work.

Q4.Appearance/Attractiveness

The site lacks a professional feel to it and for me the colors do not work
well with each other. I would suggest going to a web template site and
viewing the templates listed there to give some ideas. I have done this
before to great effect. Try the "freewebtemplates.com" website for some
great ideas.

Q5.Search engine marketing. Can the pages be reasonably well indexed by search engines?

The site fails code validation on the W3C . Try to get the code to pass or
at least get it close to passing. This will help in SEO placement.

You have unique meta tags for each page ,that is good. Google doesn't like
duplication.

You have plenty of content on the front page. SE's love content.

You are not linked to other sites at the moment. You would benefit from
some kind of linking strategy at this early stage.

There are many business directories out there. For yours to succeed without a huge budget means that it needs to be unique in some way, offer something that others do not have.

Hope this helps...

Thanks for your kind feedback smile

The website is still been developed and not finished/finalized as yet so it will having more services/section while not all but 1 or 2 will definately be something different although can't say them as unique.

Color combo yup i am also having a thought on the same, this needs some good thinking and re-work.
