Name of Site/Business: Free Spirit Gallery
Site's Main Purpose: Ecommerce/Sales
Please Review the following:
Does the home page sufficiently convince people to go further into the site?
Does/can the site achieve its main purpose?
Navigation. Is it clear and easy to understand?
Appearance/Attractiveness
Is the Contact, Privacy and Legal information adequate in relation to main purpose of site?
Search engine marketing. Can the pages be reasonably well indexed by search engines?
Additional Comments/Notes
I started my first website in September of 2004 where I got about 1,600 unique visitors per month. Since then with some SEO, articles, pay per click advertising, blogging and reciprocal linking, I'm up to about 12,000 uniques visitors per month now. I've recently adopted videos and free eBooks in order to boost traffic. The free eBooks are getting lots of potential e-mail addresses so I definitely hope to make use of a list.
The problem I'm having is with conversion. If the average conversion rate is around 1%, I should be getting about 120 orders per month. My average is more like 1 order per week. Then again, my business is an online art gallery which might suggest that conversions are expected to be lower in this product area. But somehow, I feel I should be doing better.
The answers are not really coming out at me so I'm hoping that some of you more knowledgeable folks could take a peek at my website and tell me if there's any obvious flaws in either SEO or design which is resulting in such a low conversion.
Thanks
Clint

not as bad as I've seen others before. the overall design is amatuerish. the KW selection is OK, but your stuffing the tag. I haven't checked the KW myself however.
may wnat to put some of hte positional and font colour aspects in the .css file to reduce your code even more. KW in the content don't forget, alt tags and h1 tags as well.
now go get links links links and more content :D

I think if someone visits the site that is into this type of art, they will progress further as there probably sn't much stuff like this online.
However, if you want to get people interested in it that haven't come across the art before, you're going to have to change the look and layout of the site.
I'd opt to centering the whole site, getting a more interesting main text into the mix, and refining the layout.
The pictures are fine, put maybe go for a lighter background, then thin borders around the pictures.
