I would add a way to browse communities since I really have no idea what kind of community I'm looking for. Otherwise looks fairly clean and simple.
I do absolutely hate being stuck in a site! When I hit the back button I really do want to go back, not just reload your stupid site, if I didn't like it before I hit the back button I'm damn sure not going to like it after I hit the back button and your stupid junky site just reloads instead! I hate this I hate this I hate this I hate this! I think most other people that would visit your site would feel the same, it's frickin irritating man! You just as well swarm your visitors with 147 pop ups about viagra and the joys of man on man love as soon as your site loads, you get the same effect.
