Name of Site/Business: Landofcode.com

Site's Main Purpose: Information

Please Review the following:
Does the home page sufficiently convince people to go further into the site?

Does/can the site achieve its main purpose?

Navigation. Is it clear and easy to understand?

Appearance/Attractiveness

Typos and grammar

Is the Contact, Privacy and Legal information adequate in relation to main purpose of site?

Additional Comments/Notes
The website provides free web development lessons, tutorials, and more for various languages including HTML, Javascript, PHP, and Java.

Currently there are about 310 pages of content. I still have to prepare them for the search engines with the appropriate meta tags.

Thanks to all visitors and reviewers!

Does the home page sufficiently convince people to go further into the site? Yes - I checked out the site for a while, looks good - I am in the process of learning to create a webpage, so have bookmarked it and will use it as a reference.

Does/can the site achieve its main purpose? Looks like to me...but I'm too new at coding to offer a truly qualified opinion.

Navigation. Is it clear and easy to understand? Yes.

Appearance/Attractiveness Looks like a technical site, no goop to wade through...works for me!

Typos and grammar - nothing popped out at me - and I AM a little picky about that

Is the Contact, Privacy and Legal information adequate in relation to main purpose of site? Don't know what the rules or expectations are in this category...something I will have to learn as I go, I suppose.

Yes, lessons are easy to find, navigation is simple and everything loads fast.

Does/can the site achieve its main purpose?

Yes, I'll be going over a few of theose lessons later!

Navigation. Is it clear and easy to understand?

I think so. I didn't have any trouble finding my way around.

Appearance/Attractiveness

Plain and simple, easy on the eye - the way this type of site should be.

Thats all i had time for, hope it helps.

About the design: simplicity is the best. I like the fact that you used real text instead of an image at the banner. It helps a lot.

The website is fast, the layout clean... to put it simple it gets your attention.
